Wilmington, Ohio–Fifty dealers from seven states will showcase early American antiques and pioneer era primitives when the Ohio Country Antique Show returns to the Roberts Centre on Saturday, October 28 for its Fall 2017 session. Widely regarded as one of the Midwest’s premiere “pure country” antiques shows, the semi-annual event has registered patrons from Maine to California, from Michigan to the Carolinas.
As always, Ohio Country’s exhibitors will offer a well-rounded variety of furniture and decorative accessories. Furnishings will range from formal colonial examples to early 20th-century farmhouse rustic pieces. Furniture with colorful, original painted finishes is a show hallmark. Decorators and collectors can also expect an array of accessories: woodenware and stoneware; quilts and coverlets; paintings, lithographs, and folk art; historic Americana; early advertising and ephemera; toys and children’s items; plus, garden and architectural remnants. All merchandise will be guaranteed as represented.
The Ohio Country Antique Show opens to the public in the Roberts Centre’s Montgomery Room at 9 AM Saturday morning. There will be no preview or early buying period beforehand. Adult admission is $6.00 and parking is free. Show activities end at 3 PM.
The Roberts Convention Centre is located north of Wilmington at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Interstate 71 (exit #50). The location is less than an hour’s drive from either Cincinnati or Columbus and about 45 minutes from Dayton. The complex includes a Holiday Inn hotel for overnight guests and contemporary bistro restaurant for dining and relaxation.
