Human-friendly antiques have been offered for sale at Wisconsin Antiques Dealers Association Shows since 1951! Authenticity, condition and rarity have always been the guidelines for this top-notch group of professional dealers, with offerings at ALL price levels. Friday and Saturday, October 5 & 6, marks their 67th consecutive Fall Show. Given the list of 55 dealers from 9 states, THIS Fall may prove to be the group’s best show ever! Here’s just a little about their line up, while the accompanying pictures will reveal much more:
Olson’s Antiques, Muskego, WI, Booth #42 will be offering the personal lifetime collection of an aviation enthusiast. The collection includes dozens of pre- and post-war toy airplanes, many in boxes, packed away for decades. Of course, Olson’s Antiques will also bring their inventory of fine jewelry and unusual smalls their repeat customers have come to expect.
WADA and many of its members ‘give back’.
Willow Works, Germantown, WI, Booth #8, is among them. Kathy & Dick Bruce will sell, on behalf of the animals at the Washington County Humane Society in Slinger, WI, two items that have been donated to raise important funding for the shelter; a folk art ‘memory’ cottage with a Hammond Jr. bakelite clock and a Victorian shelf with the carving of a deer.
