H. Blairman & Sons: H. Blairman & Sons was established in 1884 by Harris Blairman, and is now in its fourth generation of family ownership under the direction of Martin Levy, Harris’ great-grandson. Daniel Crouch Rare Books: Daniel Crouch Rare Books was founded in Oxford in 2010 by Daniel Crouch and Nick Trimming. Daniel has worked as a bookseller since the age of sixteen (at Sanders of Oxford), and later went on to work in the book department at Bonham’s auction house and to set up a map and atlas department at Bernard Shapero Rare Books in London. Daniel met Nick Trimming (who studied classical civilization and archaeology at King’s College, London) while they were both working at Shapero and with the support of a group of loyal clients, the two established their own firm. He moved to New Oxford with his partner Paralee Winstel in 1990 where they now operate Center Square Antiques in the old bank building on the historic town square. Although Kelly is known for his inventory of tall case clocks, Kentucky rifles, Pennsylvania decorative arts and fire fighting memorabilia, he seeks out those objects that are outstanding in any genre and period.
