The Dallas International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show is apparently making a third go at a show in the Big D, this time at Market Hall. The new location is more central to the city, but may not have the same cachet of the Dallas Convention Center (site of the 2009 Show) or the newly constructed Irving Convention Center (site of the 2011 show). Market Hall has been the location of the Buchanan Antiques and Collectibles Market and the Continental Antiques Show. Buchanan Market recently vacated the space for a location in Lewisville.
The 2011 Dallas International had about eighty vendors. A map for the 2012 show shows about 200 spaces, but dealers often occupy more than one space at shows like these. The dates are November 8-November 12, admission is $15 and includes a catalog, which to me signifies the intent is nothing less than a high-end show.
We have a call in to the promoters and will post further details and comment should they become available.
