The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show Reports The Highest Attendance Ever For Its 17th Annual Event

 Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch ShowUS Antique Shows , a major producer of antique shows in North America, reported the highest attendance ever, with a 38 percent increase over last year’s event, at its 17th Annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show which took place at The Paris Hotel Las Vegas from June 2-5th. The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show has become the largest trade show focusing on the antique jewelry and watch industry, and this year, opened one day before the JCK show.

The extensive breadth of merchandise found at The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show made this show popular with serious trade jewelry buyers and sellers. “Opening day attendance was strong. As the days passed, vibrant sales continued”, stated Andrea Canady, Fair Director. “We are happy to report that we surpassed last year’s numbers by a wide margin.” Great traffic, lots of new contacts and sales were reported by a wide array of successful dealers as well.

Kurt Rothner from Excalibur of Beverly Hills said: “We had our best show ever. We really feel that business is back especially if you have the right items. But we are really happiest about all the new stores that we met at the show.”

 Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch ShowJeff Cohen from N Green & Sons in Chicago reported: “We had a terrific Las Vegas show, there are definitely signs of an increase in business as many retail stores that we deal with were buying, and buying with great confidence. We sold a lot of merchandise in many categories from many price points including antique jewelry ranging from $100 to $1000, to a stunning Art Deco Diamond Necklace for $80,000 and a rare Patek Philippe Chronograph 1940s watch for $45,000.00.”

Eli Noor of Ely & Co. in Cypress, California stated: “We have done wonderfully at the show. We bought a lot of unique and rare items such as a fancy vivid yellow diamond, a very rare minute repeater Audemars Piguet and a collectible watch.”

Robert W. Lyons of Kazanjian Bros in Beverly Hills told us: “We found the mood of this year’s show very upbeat with both new exhibitors and new customers visiting. We saw clients not only from the US, but also from China, Europe and the Middle East as well. We found considerable interest in fancy colored diamonds, selling a number of stones including an 18 carat fancy intense yellow diamond.”
