The first coordinated gallery-opening night of the year in Dallas brought many out for views of stunning artwork. We began at Conduit and made stops at Curcuit 12, Laura Rathe Fine Art, Mary Thomas Gallery, Craighead Green, the newest kid on the block- Erin Cluley Gallery and 500x (which we are oh so thankful stays open later.) Holly Johnson and Cris Worley did not have opening because they were in the process of moving.
Timothy Harding, Chistopher Blay and friends and a catacomb of sorts at 500x included in the exhibition Tales Neither True Nor False, and below an inside view.
Inside-out at 500x
Dallas gallery pioneer Edith Baker was at Conduit, Craighead Green (seen here) and other galleries with friend Catherine Horsey and others.
Perhaps the only show we’ve been to with no art on the walls, Erin Cluey Gallery featured the ceramic tables of artist Cassandra Emswiler Burd in an exhibition titled Flowers of War.
