Except a few paintings, the majority of the deaccessioned works by the Montclair Art Museum will be auctioned by Christie’s tomorrow. The name list of the artists is long, among them there are Albert Bierstadt, Robert Henri, Childe Hassam, Edward Redfield, Edward Henry Potthast, George Benjamin Luks, Julian Alden Weir, William Merritt Chase, Winslow Homer, Jasper Francis Cropsey, Gilbert Stuart, Walter Elmer Schofield, Charles Sheeler, Frederic Remington.
