Pittsburgh artist Christiane Leach (who also works with  the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council) took the time for a phone conversation about Pittsburgh as a great place for artists to live and work. While Christiana is a Pittsburgh native, she moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico only to boomerang back. Today, she says, artists from San Francisco and elsewhere are discovering Pittsburgh’s status as a great center for creativity.
