Blanche McVeigh

(1895-1970) Fort Worth Circle printmaker and art teacher, Blanche McVeigh was born in St. Charles, Missouri but spent most of her life in Fort Worth. She studied art at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts, the Art Institute of Chicago, and later at Washington University in St. Louis. She also attended the Art Students League in New York City.

She helped establish the Fort Worth School of Fine Arts and the Fort Worth Artists Guild.

She received many awards for her print work. Her works can be found in the Dallas Museum of Art, the Old Jail Art Center, and the Amon Carter Museum.
